Sovereign AI. EU-hosted. Running in your environment.
The Plainsight AI Assistant is an EU-hosted, sovereign AI platform. It runs where you decide: your own cloud tenant, a European sovereign cloud, or your own data centre. Your data stays in your jurisdiction, you choose the models, and the whole organisation gets access for one flat monthly fee.
Sovereignty is three decisions, not one
Every vendor says "sovereign" and means something different. For an AI platform it comes down to three questions, and you can answer each one independently.
Where the platform runs
Your own cloud tenant (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud) in an EU region, a European sovereign cloud like OVHcloud or Scaleway, your own data centre, or fully air-gapped. You pick the infrastructure; the platform is the same on all of them.
Which models you use
OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Mistral, or open-source models running entirely inside your network. Per department if you want. Switching providers is a toggle, not a migration.
Who can reach your data
Data stays in your tenant and your region. No training on your inputs, no transatlantic transfers, and an audit trail your compliance team can actually defend.

Four ways to run it, all sovereign by design
Most customers start in their own cloud tenant and keep the option to move as requirements evolve. The platform is identical in every option, so moving is an infrastructure project, not a rebuild.
| Option | Data residency | Time to deploy | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your own cloud tenant, EU region | EU region | Days | Most organisations starting out |
| European-sovereign cloud | EU only, EU operator | Weeks | Regulated sectors with a sovereignty mandate |
| On-premises | Your data centre | Weeks to months | Strict residency, existing on-prem footprint |
| Air-gapped | Fully isolated | Months | Defence, critical infrastructure |
